Colima Mexico Mission Trip 2026 (Week 1)
Are you ready to step into a life-changing week of serving, growing, and experiencing God’s heart for the nations? Join us in Colima, Mexico, where CenterPoint Church partners with Hogar de Amor, a Christ-centered ministry that provides homes and care for children in need. Together, we’ll bring hope, encouragement, and practical help to kids and communities longing to experience the love of Jesus in tangible ways.
About Colima
Colima is a beautiful region on Mexico’s Pacific coast, known for its warm culture, lush landscapes, and rich heritage. Yet beneath the beauty lies deep need. Many children have grown up in broken or difficult circumstances, and local ministries like Hogar de Amor step in to provide not only food, shelter, and education, but also family and faith. This trip allows you to step into that story of redemption, offering love and presence where it’s needed most.
Our Partner: Hogar de Amor
Hogar de Amor (“Home of Love”) is a ministry devoted to rescuing and caring for vulnerable children across multiple homes in Colima. They are committed to raising kids in a safe, loving, and gospel-centered environment, with the hope that every child will grow to know Jesus and step into a brighter future. By serving alongside Hogar de Amor, we get to strengthen their mission, encourage their staff, and be part of God’s ongoing work in Mexico.
Purpose of the Trip
Throughout the week, our team will:
-
Lead fun and meaningful activities for children — sports, music, crafts, Bible lessons, and games.
-
Support practical projects — painting, cleaning, and outdoor improvements to bless the children’s homes.
-
Share life together — eating meals, laughing, and building friendships with kids and caregivers.
-
Encourage the local church and staff — worshiping together and offering spiritual support.
We define success not by how much we do, but by how faithfully we love, how well we serve together, and how deeply we reflect the heart of Christ.
Why Join Us?
This trip is designed for anyone with a willing heart. You don’t need special skills—just a readiness to serve, listen, and love. Whether it’s your first mission trip or your tenth, you’ll be stretched, encouraged, and transformed. Every personality, gift, and story has a place on this team.
Safety & Travel Note
While the U.S. State Department currently lists Colima as a “Do Not Travel” state, the specific city and areas where we serve with Hogar de Amor are considered safe for teams. CenterPoint Church has taken teams here for many years without incident. We always take appropriate safety precautions, travel with trusted local partners, and follow the guidance of both our hosts and our leaders to ensure the well-being of every participant.
Take the Next Step
The total cost of the trip is $1,500, which covers airfare, lodging, meals, and project expenses. Each participant will be encouraged to build a support team through prayer and financial partnership.
All donations are tax-deductible and go directly through CenterPoint Church to cover trip expenses.
We invite you to prayerfully consider joining us. You can apply to be part of the team for either week, or you can help send others by giving financially. However you participate, you’ll be part of a story bigger than yourself—one where lives are changed, relationships are built, and God’s love is made visible.
